Forging Materials
The forging raw material is 6061 aerospace-grade light aluminum alloy, which has good corrosion resistance, durability and stable performance. Through forging extrusion plastic forming the mechanical properties of T6 are significantly improved after heat treatment and it has the characteristics of high strength and good toughness
Ultrasonic Flaw Detection
Ultrasonic flaw detector accurately detects and evaluates aluminum alloy materials. After ensuring that there is no damage, the aluminum alloy material is transferred to the cutting machine
Material Testing
After taking the aluminum alloy material sample, the sample is polished and examined with an optical microscope to ensure that the fiber structure of the aluminum alloy material is complete. Install the aluminum alloy sample on the testing machine, tighten it and conduct a uniform tensile test to ensure that the tensile strength is qualified
Aluminum Bar Cutting
Set the length of material required by the machine to accurately cut the aluminum bar according to the wheel forging size requirements. The cut aluminum bars are sent to the conveyor belt to start the fully automated forging process.
Material Heating

The forging upgrade process will be carried out three times to improve its microstructure and mechanical structure, and obtain a forging blank with a certain geometric size, shape and quality.
Forging
First Forging
The intelligent robotic arm places the aluminum alloy rod on a mold with a certain shape, and the hydraulic straight forging machine applies a pressure of 4,000 tons to the aluminum alloy rod to forge it into a straight concave shape
Second Forging
Taking out the forging and sends it to the secondary forging. After the forging is placed on the die, the hydraulic direct forging machine applies a pressure of 10,000 tons to the forging, at which time the front J contour appears
The robotic arm places the forging on the die of the hydraulic press, applies 2000 tons of pressure evenly and vertically downward, further stretches the edge of the forging, and reserves the center hole of the hub. After three forging upgrades, the exterior has revealed the initial shape of the wheel.
Third Forging
Flow From
The forgings are transferred to a temperature control box and heated to the optimum spinning temperature
The mechanical arm places the forging in the vertical high-power spinning machine, and the vertical high-power spinning machine repeatedly spins the forging. When the rim width is well plastically extended, the alloy material is compacted again
T6 Heat Treatment
The forging enters the T6 heat treatment stage. The forging is heated to a higher temperature, held at that temperature for a sufficient period of time, and then rapidly cooled.
After the forging undergoes T6 heat treatment (heating-heat-holding-quenching-aging) process, the tensile strength is improved to form the final forging blank
The engineer will analyze the machining process of the blank according to the requirements of the engineering drawings, determine the feed route, and write a high-quality CNC machining program to ensure the accuracy of the wheel
CNC Machined
CNC Machine Tools
The precise positioning of the CNC machine tool, the details of the wheel hub are engraved, and the drawing process removes the excess material until the contour image of the rim that the designer wants is completed
The wheel hub blank is transferred to the CNC machine tool, the CNC program commands are input, and the tool change technology is adopted on the CNC milling machine. One-time molding does not require secondary clamping to ensure the accuracy of the wheel hub.
Polished
Carry out a comprehensive inspection of the surface of the wheel and determine the grinding position and degree then formulate a suitable grinding construction plan.
After grinding, it should be checked repeatedly to ensure the grinding quality and improve the appearance.
Use a polisher to polish the surface of the rim in detail until the rim is shiny completing the first polish.
Place the wheel in the grinding bucket of the water polisher. The  bucket contains polishing fluid and abrasive. The machine drives the hub to rotate in a grinding bucket to improve the overall surface brightness of the wheel until the polishing process is complete
Polishing
According to custom style and color requirements, we spray pigment powder onto the surface of the wheel hub, heat, melt and cure the powder until it hardens into a protective shell that is stronger than liquid paint. After powder coating, a liquid clear coat is applied to make the primary color The surface produces a satin sheen.
Turn the wheel to make sure the powder coat and clear coat are evenly applied to each surface of the wheel
